People's Tours: Taking the Guide out on the LAndscape
NEXT PUBLIC TOUR: OCTOBER 2026, DATE TBA.
The landscapes of our campus are sites of power: oppressive structures and resistance to them plays out on ground. Following the guide, we lead tours to these places, reading aloud and discussing the histories where they happened. Much different than one led by a campus ambassador, it is a pilgrimage through time and space, a point of contact with the generations that have struggled before us.
We regularly schedule tours for classes, organizations, conferences, and also host open tours to the public each fall and spring. Use our tour request form if you would like to schedule a tour or our contact page to learn when the next one is happening.
You can also lead a tour yourself! Don’t feel like you need us there. This is the People’s Guide — it is
yours to learn from, mark up and build upon. Take your friends, students and comrades across the landscapes. Make use of our digital guide on the Read the Guide page and the discussion questions at the end of each entry to guide your reflections.
